Seal the line, then add air or water pressure through the stem.
Anderson O55 is a standard open plug. It uses the same straight-sided rubber and large wing nut as a closed plug, plus an opening through the center of the stem so you can introduce air or water pressure into the line you are testing or blowing out. This 1-7/8" plug fits 2" pipe.

Good to Know
Open or closed plug?
A closed plug is solid through the center and simply seals the line. An open plug has a hole through the stem, so you can push air or water through the plug to pressure test or blow out the line.
Does this plug screw in?
No. It pushes straight in, and turning the wing nut squeezes the rubber so it expands against the wall of the opening. When a size is listed for female threads , that means the plug seals inside a threaded opening, not that the plug itself has threads.
