Crown #269AW Box Scraper - 3/8"
The #269AW Box Scraper from Crown is designed for producing flat bottoms and 90 degree angles on the inside base of cylindrical boxes and lids. In addition, the skew angled tip also serves to produce the dovetail recess or undercut required on the bottom bowls and platters for effectively gripping with scroll chuck jaws. The 3/8" (10mm) diameter blade is made from M2 High Speed Steel (HSS) and hardened to Rockwell 62-64. Tool is approximately 15" long overall with an 8-1/2" long stained Beech handle.
