Crown Oval Skew, 1/2 in. 249W.
Crown 249W Oval Skew, 1/2 in. Many lathe tool rests are rough; sometimes causing rectangular shaped skews to catch, jump, and create nasty gouges on the work. Oval Skews have no sharp corners so they move smoothly over the tool rest, and transfer leverage to the cutting edge more efficiently. They cut cleanly and leave a mirror finish. Skew has a 6-1/2" long blade with an 8-1/2" long handle for an overall length of approximately 15". Hardwood handle. HSS blade. England Model: 249W
