Flexcut Pro Series 1-5/8 in. Carving Knife FP02.
The Flexcut Pro Series 1-5/8 in. Carving Knife features a versatile full flat grind sheepsfoot blade in precision heat-treated 1095 steel, polished to a brilliant mirror finish. This knife is great for all around carving work. The medium blade length, slim profile, and detail tip provides enough reach for tough cuts while maintaining full control. Knife has a 1-5/8" (41 mm) long blade with a 5-1/2" long handle. USA
The Pro Line is Flexcut’s latest release of premium knives, redesigned from the ground up to deliver peak performance.
Blade - Flexcut took their famous blade steel back to the drawing board to engineer a true flat grind for ultimate performance. These precision heat-treated blades boast their most precise and durable detail carving tips yet. Seriously, these blades might just redefine the word sharp as we know it, and with a larger clearance between the choil and heel of the cutting edge, you will have a more consistent stropping experience keeping you sharper for longer.
Handle - The Flexcut Pro Handle is the direct result of extensive research and testing. Flat sidewalls, bold facets, and curves in just the right places make this premium, un-varnished cherry wood handle an absolute pleasure to hold. Flexcut removed bulk from under the blade to eliminate interference on tight cuts and added an index finger swell over the spine for extra power and superior control.
