DETAILS
This part comes from a New Old Stock dealer inventory leftover radio that was were never used in a vehicle. The radio came right out of the Mopar box. These radios have a 6.5" touchscreen and were used in some Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep vehicles in the 2011-2015 time-frame. We know it can be used on the 05091661, 05091211, and 05091658 radios, but we don't have a list of other radio part numbers that use it at this time. You shouldn't buy it just because you have a Mopar though. We know this works on radio model RHP (NTG4), manufactured by Harman. Research shows it also works on RHR and RHW radios from Harman, but we have not personally verified this, so make sure your connector matches if you have one of those. If your model is different, this likely won't work for you. (Radio model is found in small white print, usually below and to the right of the display.) We know it does not work on RER radios. Please don't say we didn't warn you. If you decide to take a chance even though your model doesn't match, please understand you could be wasting some money. If it doesn't work in place of a different part number, that doesn't make it defective. It just makes it a failed experiment...
Changing this is fairly straight-forward. (Search there for QTsBm-ji9Ps .) Still, y ou shouldn't be performing the repair unless you're qualified. It does work as described, if your radio model is matches and you do the installation correctly.
If you've researched these screens, you know this is a good price for a new one that is complete. Most people are just selling the digitizers separately and you have to do quite a bit more work (and risk damage to the screen) installing the digitizer alone.
Your VIN will be required, as well as a photo of the face of your current radio, showing the 3 digit radio code.
