Anti-Rotation Pin Clearance: When mounting the clutch over the crankshaft keyway, verify that the anti-rotation pin on your mower frame has at least 1/4" of free lateral play inside the clutch bracket slot. Never clamp or bind the clutch bracket tight against the anti-rotation pin—the clutch body must "float" slightly to prevent side-loading the internal ball bearings!
