Sorby 821 Hardwood Scraper Blade, 3/4 in. The Robert Sorby Hardwood Scraper blade for turners who prefer to make their own turning tool handles, or for use in Sorby's Sovereign System handles. Featuring a negative rake on the bevel, the scraper reduces the risk of tearing out wood fibers, and leaves a beautiful polished surface on all types of wood. Originally designed to tackle hardwoods when producing musical instruments, The scraper is just as effective on bowl work as spindle work. Scraper is tanged at one end and measures approximately 1/4 thick x 8" long overall. The High Speed Steel (HSS). A tang collet adapter (85406) is required for use with the Sovereign System.
