Description of Tips
Ring Center - Used when there is a risk of splitting the stock (ie. laminated and small spindle work).
Hollow Center - For hollow boring. Allows a 5/16" shell augur to feed through, precisely ensuring accurate boring
60 Deg. Point - The work horse tip. Good for heavy duty applications.
Mini 60 Deg. Point - For more delicate work or where access is required at the end of the work piece.
Cup Center - Enables the fitting of homemade support heads for specialized tasks.
Location Pin - Used to self-center stock that has been long bored prior to turning.
