Sorby 830 Standard Parting Tool Blade, 1/4 in. For turners who prefer to make their own turning tool handles, or for use in Robert Sorby Sovereign System handles. It is used for parting off finished work from the waste material. Flat parallel sides make a rigid tool that handles well. Also useful for fine detailing of beads and fillets. Scraper is tanged at one end and measures approximately 8-3/8" long overall. High Speed Steel (HSS) blade is 1/4" thick. A tang collet adapter (85406) is required for use with the Sovereign System.
